Cucunci in salt are produced on the island of Salina, in the Aeolian Islands. D.O.P. cucunci in salt are grown by exploiting the natural fertility of the volcanic soil, favouring it with limited interventions that exclude the use of fertilisers, additives and chemical manures. They give off very special and unique flavours and smells, giving every dish an intoxicating fragrance. They go perfectly with such as olives, especially the black ones, vegetables such as aubergines, to dress colourful and tasty salads, with pasta, rice and potatoes, very good to dress pizza, to garnish meat. wash under running water for 1 minute
