The history of the Frescobaldi family begins over a thousand years ago and it’s intimately connected with the history of Tuscany. For 30 generations Frescobaldi has combined tradition and innovation, experience, and creativity, always in pursuit of excellence. The name “Frescobaldi” carries with it the responsibility of making the most of the Tuscan territory, through a cultivation that respects the environment and the wonderful diversity of the family estates.
In the Middle Ages, “Laudemio” was the name of the best part of the harvest, destined for the landlord’s table. Today, Laudemio Frescobaldi is the highest expression of the extra virgin olive oil from the family’s olive groves. This excellence is the result of a winning combination of factors: the microclimate of the high hills, the early harvest of the olives and their immediate pressing in Castello Nipozzano.
